A new £100 million retail, leisure and residential destination is being created for Birmingham at Edgbaston Mill.
Directly opposite the world-famous Edgbaston Cricket Ground, the nine-acre scheme will offer a variety of restaurants, a food store, grade 'A' offices and leisure facilities, including a 200 bedroom hotel to be operated by Hilton Doubletree.
Edgbaston Cricket Ground is undergoing its own expansion plans and together with Calthorpe Estate's development of Edgbaston Mill, the area is being transformed to capitalise on its prime location.
Redrow has completed 344 luxury apartments which are being marketed and have residents moving in.
Aldi has opened a 14,000 sq ft food store on the site.
From August 2011 Wylam Investments start works to create a stunning 200 bedroom hotel which will include a luxury health club, spa, pool, cafe and three restaurants.
