Calthorpe Estates Appoint New Director Of Development

Calthorpe Estates has strengthened its team with the appointment of Stephen Lord to Director of Development.

Mr Lord was previously with Slough Estates as Senior Development Manager but will now oversee the development of the flagship £90 million University Science Park, Pebble Mill and the £100 million mixed-use scheme at Edgbaston Mill for the Edgbaston landowners.

He brings with him vast experience of the office buildings and business parks market in the UK, which saw him help to create the 11 hectare Cambridge Research Park and the £500 million Farnborough Business Park.

Mr Lord commented: “Calthorpe Estates has an impressive portfolio of developments within Birmingham and I am excited to have been given this opportunity to drive them forward.

“There is a tremendous amount of work involved with the projects but I am pleased to be able to assist Calthorpe Estates in delivering its vision for Edgbaston and the city of Birmingham.”
