Sustainability Credentials Continue to Grow
February 2010
Calthorpe Estates’ commitment to the environment has been further recognised with the company being shortlisted in the ‘sustainability’ category of the 2010 Property Awards for its Calthorpe House scheme.
The award-winning property investor and developer was identified as a contender for the award by a panel of industry experts for its leading work in the field of sustainable property development. The stringent criteria demand a project, developer, occupier or innovation that demonstrates a positive impact on the environment. The overall winner will be recognised as having championed the green agenda and reducing their environmental impact.
Jayne Herritty, sales and marketing director for Calthorpe Estates commented: “We are really proud to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award. Sustainability is core to the Calthorpe Estates ethos and has been for nearly three centuries. Our vision is to create the best place to live and work through delivering new sustainable buildings such as Calthorpe House, maintaining existing period properties and protecting the environment of The Estate.”
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 27 April being held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
