In the last 6 years, the evolution has moved on apace with the development of Edgbaston Village and the expansion of Edgbaston Medical Quarter. These are being followed by commercial and residential schemes such as New Garden Square, in addition to the arrival of the Edgbaston Village Metro stop which will see the tram extension to Edgbaston.

Further development has taken place at 5-6 Greenfield Crescent creating modern design extensions to existing listed buildings.

Future Project

Calthorpe Estates is strategically developing the Estate. The latest scheme it is working on is New Garden Square.

New Garden Square is an ambitious regeneration proposal for an outdated commercial estate in Edgbaston, Birmingham. Led by Calthorpe Estates and U+I Group Plc, the proposals will deliver a mixed-use destination with 0ver 500,000 sq ft of new office space, apartments, shops, restaurants and bars – set around a stunning garden square.
