Edgbaston doctor set to teach world’s best

An Edgbaston cosmetic doctor, and hair restoration surgeon has been invited to be a Key Opinion Leader for Galderma, the world’s leading brand in aesthetics and dermatology.

Dr Max Malik, who is Medical Director at Elate Health Group, which recently moved to the Calthorpe Estate, was chosen as one of just three doctors from around the world to teach specialists about the fine art of rejuvenation, restoration and artistry. Using the latest anti-ageing treatments, Dr Malik will be sharing his knowledge and expertise to promote best practice and showcase the latest technologies and products in the market.

Following the successful completion of a stringent assessment alongside 30 other specialists, Dr Malik was chosen to become a brand ambassador for Galderma.

The Edgbaston resident, who was born and raised in Birmingham, has more than 20 years’ experience and has created a unique offering of cosmetic medicine, aesthetic dermatology and hair restoration surgery at Elate Health. Located in the world-renowned Edgbaston Medical Quarter, patients have been taking advantage of Dr Malik’s world class treatments since his clinic opened three years ago.

News of Dr Malik’s prestigious role follows an exciting new journey for Elate Health Group. Thanks to recent growth in its dermatology, hair recovery and psychiatry services, the specialist clinic has relocated to 6 George Road in the Edgbaston Medical Quarter. Providing a larger, self-contained premises, the new home for Elate Health will ensure that residents can continue to take advantage of the world-class offers, as well as new wellbeing services including psychiatry support, yoga and relaxation techniques.

Dr Malik added: “Our clients always come first and the new premises will allow us to not only offer new cosmetic treatments, but also to enhance our wellbeing support.
